Jig presentations can be recorded live, and then saved on your device as a video.
To start recording press the record button {icon-video.svg}. When the meeting is wrapping up, press the record button {icon-video.svg} again to stop recording.
You will be directed to your video preview, press save on the top right corner to save your presentation.
If you don't press save, the session will be lost and you won't be able to save it in your device.
Recording high quality 3D videos
If you wish to make higher quality videos from your 3D presentations or augmented reality content using the JigSpace iPhone or iPad apps, you can enable HD graphics, and hide the JigSpace controls completely.
Navigate to the 'Settings' panel, by clicking on the cog icon in the iPhone or iPad app, and toggle on or off the following settings.
Hide AR controls
This will ensure your videos have no buttons or information on top of them, including the forward and back buttons for clean, crispt
To make it easy to navigate through your Jig while recording it, we recommend you either:
- set your Jig to autoplay
- mark the controls with a white chalk marker on your screen.
HD graphics
This enables ambient occlusion (AO) and our highest quality rendering of your 3D content.
Depending on your device, its age, and condition, enabling HD graphics can use significantly more battery than normal. If you are concerned about this, we recommend toggling this setting on or off as you need it.
