JigSpace offers multiple options for customizing your models in order to make them more realistic. You can select a colour, material or add textures.

Material

Adding materials to your Objects and Sub-Objects can be one of the quickest ways to adding realism to a model.

Jig Materials contain Roughness Metalness and Normal information to give the individual materials the same depth as a custom texture map.

To give an object materials, select your Object or Sub-object and tap on the Color {icon-colour.svg} button on the toolbar. Then select the Material tab. In the Material Menu scroll through and experiment with the different materials on your model.

Note: Unlike colour, when you assign a material to you object this attribute will be present across every step of the Jig.

Choosing materials from all available options.

You can edit colour independently of materials.

First select a material. Once you have found the right material go to the Colour tab and edit the colour. If you change the material the new material will overwrite these colour changes.
